Genealogy Explained

Genealogy Explained is an educational site designed to help weekend-warrior genealogists learn how to climb their family trees. Not sure where to start? If you are new to the hobby, start with the basics and go from there. Marc McDermott (it’s his website) recommends his Genealogical Proof Standard link found in the basics menu item, but I like the entire website, so enjoy. You should consider signing up for his newsletter.
