Lisa Medina: Northward Dreams and Hard Realities: Mexican Migration in the 19th Century
Discover the forces that drove Mexicans northward in the 1800s—from economic opportunity and railroad expansion to political upheaval—and how these shaped family histories. Key records, including church and civil registrations, newspapers, and archival collections, offer vital clues for tracing ancestors during this era of change.
